Audi Showroom | אולם תצוגה אאודי
Our design of the Audi showroom in Herzliya creates an intimate space that differs from other showrooms in the vicinity. The limited given area required a complete rearrangement of the display and sale sequence and led us to a clean and open design.
An interior sculptural wall is central to our design and aims to soften the orthogonality of the original space and is inspired by the Audi design legacy. Parametric modelling was used for this element, bridging the architectural design and automobile design. Beyond the visual impact, this wall discreetly includes all the required functions of the showrooms such as informal seating areas and projection surfaces.
Unlike typical showrooms, most of the vehicles are not visible from the street and are only revealed upon entrance. The corner of the space has a double-height vitrine for the display of a unique vehicle at a spot of high visibility.
This competition entry by Kimmel Eshkolot Architects was selected by the client and approved by Audi.
