House in Dubai

Facing the coast, the house is designed around a shaded courtyard with a swimming pool extending deep into the plot. Coupled with reflection pools that surround the outdoor seating areas, the water cools the courtyard and enables generous views into the spaces around it.

For this design we worked with various types of screens and transparencies to divide, to shade and to create privacy within a house for a single family with both entertainment and home office areas.

The design includes three levels with the suites positioned on the top floor, including a separated area for the primary suite for maximum privacy. The ground floor includes generous entertainment and dining areas, gym, spa and an office. The basement includes a cinema, wine cellar and a large playroom that is surrounded by patios and a plunge pool.
