Israeli Air Defense Command Centre

The centre for the legacy of the Israeli Air Defense Command is both an exhibition space for the organisation's history and achievements as well as a space of commemoration for its fallen soldiers. As a dynamic and elongated volume, it is visible from Road 40 as it breaks through the desert ground into the sky. 

Our design vision is to create an impressive and unique project that pays respect both to the fallen soldiers and to the environment and the visitors. The volumetric qualities of the building connect the linear circulation system of the exhibition spaces with the exterior circulation system. 

The commemoration beam of light is the only vertical element. It provides light to the commemoration space and is visible from afar.
